Spinexpotm -- New technology activates innovation in knitted

Sportswear is the next move in the knitting industry! It has become a trend to incorporate functional or decorative sports-related features into casual wear, and almost every manufacturer and brand is creating such product lines.

SANToni (Italy), an expert in circular knitting machines, recognized this important trend and joined hands with Eva de Laat, a Dutch sportswear expert, to explore a more perfect knitting method for this type of products.

"New textile technologies have helped the development of seamless and circular knitting," said Ms Eva de Laat. "By using different structures, we are able to add more functions to the garment without adding other elements and without adding weight to the garment."

"This allows us to make garments that have more functions but are relatively light in weight," she explains.

With the circular knitting method, some important features are being added to sportswear, such as humidity management, shaping and pressure.

"We can do 'body drawing' when we use circular knitting," says Eva. Through body mapping, various functional features can be added to specific locations of the garment as needed. For example, a pressure function can be added to a specific point of the trouser leg, while a perspiration dehumidification function can be added to the area that sweats frequently.

"The advantage is that we can tailor the garments to different segments of the sportswear market, such as high-intensity sportswear, fitness wear (yoga, casual wear) and outdoor sportswear," Eva says. The future of knitwear must be the integration of technology into ready-to-wear manufacturing.

The increasing awareness of high quality

It is no easy task to manage more than 20 factories in different locations in China with consistent high quality production, but nanjing clothing company has done just that.

Each plant is designed and built to the highest standards and is equipped with the most advanced technology. The management team of each factory also strictly implements the scientific management system.

Over the past 40 years, the company has recognized that quality is the key to success in the retail market. "We never lower quality in order to get orders. If we have to meet the customer's target price by lowering our quality standards, we will abandon the order. Our reputation is built on quality products and we will never give up our integrity for short-term gains, "said Mark, general manager of Nanjing Clothing Co." If you want high-end customers, then you have to meet certain high standards yourself."

"We visit Italy every year to learn about new trends and then integrate them into our commercial products." "Said Miss Li.

Nanjing Clothing is developing new products in different directions for the next season, some of which will be displayed at the Spinexpotm Shanghai exhibition in March. One of their latest creations is a needle-pick knitwear: using an embroidery extension technique, the "hairs" of fibres or yarns are pulled onto the surface of the garment to create a furry appearance. This technique not only adds texture, but also allows different materials and colors to blend together harmoniously. Another innovation is a new pile yarn. Nanjing Clothing has used a new fuzzing technique to create a fur-like effect on the surface of a garment.

"We take inspiration from international shows. Now we are working on 3D patterns, tatter-like knitted fabrics, tassel looks and other designs." "Said Miss Li.

Push forward the development of new technology in yarn field

Not content with innovating in classic areas such as yarn color, texture and blending methods, Suzhou Jinxiang Textile Dyeing & Finishing Co., Ltd. has taken it a step further and is actively researching ways to add new properties to its yarns.

One of the company's latest creations is a yarn that changes color in response to the wearer's body temperature. "These yarns produce readymade clothes that can be used as an elegant office day dress, but turn into a very fun party dress in the evening," explains Paula Cheng, guest designer at Suzhou Jinxiang. We could go one step further and add a fluorescent color to the yarn so that the garment glows in the dark."

One of the company's more groundbreaking research is a new type of optically knitted clothing that looks different when viewed from different angles.

"We want to produce more diverse ready-to-wear. In the modern world, ready-to-wear has to be not only stylish but also practical for everyday wear." Paula explains.

Suzhou Jinxiang Textile Dyeing & Finishing Co., Ltd. introduces 45 to 50 new yarns every year. "We are always looking for new ideas to showcase yarn. We want to make the base yarns as attractive as fancy yarns, so we give them a new look every year." Paula says.

Suzhou Jinxiang Textile Dyeing & Finishing Co., Ltd. will participate in the latest "Green Right Time" exhibition project of SPINEXPOTM Shanghai March Exhibition. "We are very much looking forward to this partnership with Spinexpotm. We will bring five styling products to the SpinExpo trend area, each of which contains 20-30 individual items, including accessories." She said.
